To operate the power moonroof, if so equipped, the ignition switch must be in the ON position.

To fully open or close the moonroof, push the OPEN or CLOSE side of this switch and release it. You do not need to hold it.

To partially open or close the moonroof, push the switch in any direction. When the moonroof has reached the desired position, push the switch once more to stop it.

To tilt the moonroof up, first close the moonroof then push the switch to the TILT UP position and release it. To tilt it down, push the switch to the TILT DOWN position.

Manually open and close the sunshade by sliding it forward or backwards. The sunshade will open automatically when the moonroof is opened.

To open the moonroof with the Intelligent Key, press and hold the UNLOCK button for approximately three seconds after the doors have been unlocked. This feature does not operate if the moonroof timer is activated. The moonroof stops at its current location if the UNLOCK button is released before the moonroof is finished opening.

If you’ve turned the ignition OFF and notice the moonroof is open, you still have a period of time in which to close it. However, if either front door is opened during that period, power to the moonroof is cancelled.

If the moonroof does not operate properly, perform the following procedure to initialize the moonroof:
● Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
● If the moonroof is open, close it fully by repeatedly pushing the CLOSE side of the moonroof switch.
● Push and hold the CLOSE side of the moonroof switch.
● Release the moonroof switch after the moonroof moves slightly up and down.
● Push and hold the OPEN side of the moonroof switch to fully tilt the moonroof down.
● Check to see if the moonroof switch operates normally.

If it doesn’t operate normally, it is recommended you visit an INFINITI retailer for service.
